Run, run, as fast as you can - you can’t catch me - I’m the Gingerbread Man! We all know the classic tale of the feisty gingerbread man who meets an untimely end, but in this zingy reimagining—SPOILER ALERT—he DOESN’T get eaten by the fox. Why? Because of one gigantic, life-saving sneeze!
Easy for young children to learn and perform, with simple songs and lines, preschool and kindergarten students in this classroom-based musical will use this creative script and accompanying songs to enjoy a classic story and learn all about being on stage! Crafts and games will spark their imaginations as young students discuss the story and become their characters. The semester will end in a fully-staged performance for friends and family!

From beginner basics to intermediate skill levels, this "tap only" class will focus on technique, articulation, speed, musicality, and building your tap vocabulary. Students will receive one-on-one correction as they extend and reinforce steps they have learned and create a variety of a capella rhythms to present at the showcase. Strongly recommended for students wanting to broaden their musical theatre tool box for and for those who need to sharpen their tap skill set. Previous students are encouraged to return, as tap is a learned skill that requires continuous practice!
